Storylines Notable Book Awards

Each year, Storylines produces a list of outstanding books for children and young people published by New Zealand authors and illustrators. Up to ten titles are awarded for each category: Picture Book, Junior Fiction, Young Adult, Non-fiction and Te Reo Māori.

Storylines Children’s Literature Charitable Trust Te Whare Waituhi Tamariki ō Aotearoa promotes the importance of reading and books for children and young adults; works to ensure children and young adults have access to high quality literature; and supports the writers and illustrators of literature for children and young adults in New Zealand.
