The Ockham New Zealand Book Awards is our most prestigious awards ceremony honouring New Zealand writers. The awards celebrate the best fiction, illustrative non fiction, general non fiction and poetry publications of the year. Additionally, there are four awards for first-time authors and, at the judges’ discretion, Te Mūrau o te Tuhi, a Māori Language Award.
