Upstart Press is an eight-year -old independent publisher, staffed by veterans of multi-national publishing. Upstart publishes trade titles in fiction, non-fiction and children’s categories. Best known in New Zealand as a sport book publisher, Upstart’s most successful overseas titles have come from their children’s list, though fiction has featured as well.
