Black Chook Books

We are a young, independent New Zealand Publisher producing books for under 7 year olds. Our Big Thyme Rhyme series for under five, or anyone new to the English language is comprised of 10 board books, each containing an entertaining story through the use of single word rhyme. These books are presently selling in New Zealand, the U.S, and Canada.

We also have two stand alone titles ‘Cornelius’ & ‘Sir Daddimus’. All titles have been written and illustrated by Martin Bailey, an experienced & well known writer/illustrator from New Zealand.
