Sir Daddimus is the story of a day in the life of a dad retrieving his daughter from day care, told with flair and originality.

Sir Daddimus is a little mouse on a little mission, in a big world. With some imagination, Sir Daddimus manages to impart to his ‘risky’ venture the level of importance it truly deserves.

Told as parallel stories (the real and the imagined) and minimal dialogue, Sir Daddimus relies largely on the illustrations to carry the narrative, allowing for some rich discussion between child and adult.

About the Author
Martin Bailey is highly regarded by major publishing houses in New Zealand, Australia, and the United States and has written and/or illustrated over 100 children’s titles including many for the education sector. He has written for a diverse range of publishers including Wendy Pye Publishing, Scholastic, Pearson and Murdoch.
