Catherine Chidgey is an award-winning author who’s latest novels Pet (Te Herenga Waka University Press, 2023) and The Axeman’s Carnival (Te Herenga Waka Univeristy Press, 2022) have both been shortlisted for the Dublin Literary Award 2024. The Axeman’s Carnival also won the Jann Medlicott Acorn Prize for Fiction at the Ockham New Zealand Book Awards 2023.
