See Play Do is a children’s activity annual which encourages open- ended creative play with 3- to 9-year-olds. It is a collaboration between creatives of all ages; from chefs to scientists to 5-year-olds, and is filled with fun ideas – make glitter playdough and dress a dinosaur in your own clothes.

Filled with art ideas, recipes, and indoor/outdoor play ideas.

Focuses on familiar everyday home rituals and activities to inspire uninhibited creativity – draw portraits with your toothbrush; make a feeder for the birds.

Introduces children to the work of numerous creative professionals: artists to photographers to musicians and gardeners.

Colourful and beautifully produced with lots of space for children to add their own drawing and writing to the book.

Shifts kids’ attention away from the ideal ‘final product’, in favour of open-ended play and exploration, lessening anxiety and increasing fun.

About the Author
Louise Cuckow, a designer, who’s worked with Karen Walker, Nature Baby and Juliette Hogan, came up with the idea for the creative handbook for small (and big) humans to help build self-confidence, letting kids know their efforts didn’t have to be picture-perfect. She has assembled a stellar cast of contributors (cartoonists, musicians, photographers, chefs etc.) including our favourite microbiologist Siouxsie Wiles, who wrote some science experiments with daughter Eve.
